Queen Mountain Homestead is a place for friends and strangers to celebrate, learn and heal together. On 8-acres of diverse hillside, our matrilineal family is growing food and flowers; increasing biodiversity; and teaching along the way. Our holistic team provide inspiration, education and goods from the land to enrich your life.

Acknowledgments:
Queen Mountain Homestead resides in Whatcom (Xwotʼqom) County in the ancestral and current homeland of the Lhaq’temish (Lummi) and Nooksack people. We, the descendants of displaced settlers, use the term “homestead” with tension. This land is our family home. “Homestead” is the most accurate descriptor; and we know the harsh reality of the Homestead Act and it’s lasting impact on first peoples. We use the term not in ignorance of history, but in acknowledgement of our own lack of roots here. We have so much to learn from the Lhaq’temish and Nooksack people about place-based living. With radical hope, we commit to this land as our home and seek to honor both the ancient wisdom of those who have always lived here and that of our own far-flung ancestors.
